Flutist Suzanne Bona is a native of Fairfield, CT. She earned her Bachelor of Music in flute performance at The University of Connecticut, where she studied with Martin Orenstein. Suzanne later pursued private studies with Thomas Nyfenger at Yale. She performs across the United States with ensembles, as a chamber musician, and as a soloist. She has traveled twice to Guam to perform with local musicians on the island. In November 2013, Suzanne and Sylvan pianist Greg Kostraba gave the US premiere of the Sonata for Flute and Piano op.23 by British composer Ian Venables. In October 2017, she made her European debut performing a live-streamed recital with pianist Brenda Miller at Mendelssohn-Haus Leipzig.

Suzanne is also the host and executive producer of Sunday Baroque, a weekly syndicated radio program of baroque and early music. Originated in 1987 by Suzanne and distributed nationally since 1998, Sunday Baroque is heard on approximately 288 radio stations and networks across the United States, and heard by a half million listeners every week. She also hosts the companion podcast SUNDAY BAROQUE CONVERSATIONS, featuring her interviews with leading musicians.
